Dustlight. A lot more Dustlight!
Designed for your workplace. Calibrated to your conditions, not for the average.
Every workplace is different. With this software update, Dustlight brings real-time fine particulate matter measurement closer to the conditions at your location—from the Wildfire AQI to your own correction factors.

See what your Dustlight can do now
Can't attend in person? Register anyway—all registered participants will receive the recording.
In 45 minutes, we'll show you live what this means for your day-to-day work:
STEL, TWA, and AQI Wildfire directly on the display
14 languages in the app and on the device
Custom calibration factors from your gravimetric reference
Custom operating mode with battery forecast & stationary mode
Privacy mode, USB/Docking readout and silica dust content share
STEL and TWA on the Dustlight display
Your employees can view the shift average directly on the device without having to connect to the app.
- Current short-term value as a 15-minute moving average
- Rolling average over the evaluation period
- Indicator next to the current reading on the display
Enter your lab report values
Values from gravimetric comparison measurements can now be entered into Dustlight. This allows the displayed real-time values to be more accurately calibrated to the actual material being measured and the specific workstation.
- Record gravimetric laboratory results
- Have the correction factor calculated automatically
- Available for shared use within the company
Enter your silica material share
You can now enter the silica dust content determined by a gravimetric comparison test as a percentage. This allows for more realistic monitoring of quartz dust exposure.
- Record gravimetric laboratory results
- Available for shared use within the company

Wildfire AQI
View the PM2.5-based Wildfire AQI directly on Dustlight. Assess the current fine particulate matter levels where your team works—instead of relying on readings from a distant monitoring station.
- Calculation of the Wildfire AQI Based on PM2.5 Directly at the Workplace
- Selectable regional scale, e.g., US EPA or Cal/OSHA
- Display of the index value directly on the device
Data Transfer via USB
In addition to wireless data transfer, you can now also transfer your measurement data via the USB charging cable. There is also a new docking station available that can hold up to 6 Dustlights.
- Six loading bays per station
- Data transfer via USB, without a phone
- Wall mounting and linking multiple stations
Stationary mode
As soon as Dustlight is connected to a power source, it automatically switches to Continuous Mode and takes measurements every second. If the power is disconnected, the device automatically returns to the previously set measurement mode.
- Automatic startup when plugged in
- Continuous measurement at a fixed point
- Range measurement without additional hardware
14 languages
Your team works in their own language, without translation notes posted on the wall.
- Eight additional languages in this release
- Language selection is also available directly on the device
- Warnings in the employees' language
Temperature and humidity
Supplement your dust measurements with workplace environmental data—all within the same system. Dustlight devices equipped with the new sensor display temperature and relative humidity in the software. This allows your safety team to better assess conditions at the measurement site.
- Trends in Temperature and Relative Humidity
- Average and peak values during the analysis period
- Note regarding limited reliability at high humidity levels
Firmware 3.6.0
Your fleet will be even better—no new hardware required: all new features are delivered wirelessly via the app.
- Wireless Update via the app
- Up to ten minutes per device
- Uniform Firmware Version Across the Fleet
Disable local data storage
Use Dustlight as a warning monitor only if you do not want dust data to be stored on the device. Dustlight continues to measure in real time and immediately alerts you to elevated dust levels.
- Dust data is not stored on the device
- Use as a warning monitor only
- Real-time warning when the threshold is exceeded
Custom operation mode
Select the measurement interval and brightness as needed. You'll immediately see how this affects battery life.
- Expected battery life for each setting
- Measurement interval adjustable in one-second increments
- About 13 hours of runtime, measured in seconds
